About the DHAA

The DHAA was formed to advance quality dental hygiene care by uniting, supporting, empowering, and advocating for Alberta dental hygienists.

One of our goals is to have oral healthcare recognized as integral to Alberta’s healthcare delivery system.

As a local association we intend to advance the role of the dental hygienist as primary care professionals.

Supporting all of our members in research, education, practice, community service, and policy.

We will represent the Dental Hygienists of Alberta to encourage awareness, dialogue and support.

We will inform governments of our position, lobby and advocate where appropriate.
